Dixieland
Transcriptions: $6 per chart Note: The instrumentation is usually full 8-piece Dixieland (clarinet, trumpet, tenor sax, trombone, piano, banjo, tuba, drums). Most, if not all, of the arrangements should play very well even if you don't have a tenor or banjo, etc. Frequently, the rhythm section (piano, tuba and banjo) share the same parts.
CUSTOM TRANSCRIPTIONS - If you have a particular Dixieland recording that you'd like to have transcribed, please ask me. If it is something I like and/or can use for my own band, I might do it very cheaply ($25-$75). I will transcribe almost anything, though, for a fee (the high side would be about $150). To inquire, please send a sound file of the recording you want transcribed to: bigbandmusicguy@aol.com. Then I'll get right back to you with a price. Ain't She Sweet (Veterinary Street Jazz Band)
